For the record: For the 1951 season, it was necessary to find another location to set up a village. The Spanish authorities, and more particularly the clergy, had been outraged to see, during the summer of 1950, young people in swimsuits occupying their beach to indulge in games, swimming and musical evenings. Not very Catholic all that!. Nevertheless, in 1951, the Club found, somewhat in a hurry, a place located at the end of the bay of Alcudia and more precisely in Alcanada. The village was not a tent village, but a "stone village" as noted in Trident No. 3.
The GMs stayed in small hotels or fishermen's houses and met for sport. They also went on excursions to discover the Balearic Islands and Spain.
For the first time, air travel is also available, although there is an additional cost for the journey.
The village had no future. Even though the season went well, the experience was not repeated the following season.
