OH minouche My minouche.
Lyrics and music: Franck Arguillère, Marc Béacco, Pascal Delafosse, François Rollin

The first performance of Oh Minouche, ma Minouche took place in Marbella (Don Miguel) in 1986. The village chief was Jean Louis Dromas

3 GOs created this number. Serge Coco D'Acapulco Marques, host, had the cassette of this song, and was convinced that something could be done with it (And he was right). The other 2 were Sergio Bianca, sound engineer, and Fabrice Trigot.
All three of them had a great time preparing and rehearsing this number. The choreography was put together in one afternoon.

The first performance took place in the middle of a trio of songs (also called a trio playback). Serge Marques, Jeff Verscheure, and Sergio Bianca finished their number to thunderous applause.

OH Minouche Ma Minouche was then covered in many villages with the same success. It has become a cult number over the years.

Today the number no longer exists. Unfortunately, and it's a shame!!

As soon as I saw you * on the street corner
I said to myself this girl * is made for me.

You looked pretty good * and I invited you to the ball
to dance the tango * I've got you under my skin.[/align]

Refrain:

Oh minouche my minouche * oh minouche my minouche
I have you under my skin * and believe me for having made me get up early.
oh minouche my minouche * oh minouche my minouche
I have you under my skin * and believe me for having made me get up early

from the first step * you stuck to me
there were no problems * and I told you I love you
we bought each other a snack * at the snack bar on the other road
you were working early * I got under your skin

Refrain:

Oh minouche my minouche * oh minouche my minouche
I have you under my skin * and believe me for having made me get up early
oh minouche my minouche * oh minouche my minouche
I have you under my skin * and believe me for having made me get up early

you worked in the factory * "des concerts des sardines"
and I was prompt * in a gas station
we barely earned our living * without holidays or going out
we weren't very tanned * but we loved each other

Refrain:

Oh minouche my minouche * oh minouche my minouche
I have you under my skin * and believe me for having made me get up early
oh minouche my minouche * oh minouche my minouche
I have you under my skin * and believe me for having made me get up early

everything fell apart * and when you lost your job
you couldn't take it * and you committed suicide.
At your funeral * your parents were there.
Your sister came too * she's not bad either!

(lucky break!!!)
oh minouche's sister oh sister
oh sister
I have you under my skin
and believe me to have me you had to get up early
oh minouche's sister oh sister oh sister
I have you under my skin and believe me to have me you had to get up early.

  1. Thank you Philippe for your article on my creation at the MINOUCHE club. It means a lot to me. Your article ranks my "cult" sketch among the great names in club entertainment. Thank you to my GO friends who participated in this wonderful adventure.
When you have the chance to see or re-see this sketch, you will think of COCO D'ACAPULCO

  2. This sketch is clown art!!!!!! it can't disappear!!!!!! I even plan to perform it soon for a certain audience!!!!!! if it is performed with respect this number is simply very good!!!!!

    1. I created this sketch and am ready to do it again 🤓

  3. Hello,
Just to clarify that the third person in the photos was me, Fabrice Trigot, with Coco and Sergio, and not Jeff (whom I greet in passing).
Excellent memories of this great moment.
    Kisses.

  4. Former sound engineer I always played this piece, by the way I would like to know if possible to have a copy Thank you

  5. Let's go back to the genesis of Minouche. At the time, I was working on the research workshop in Paris. I discovered this 45 rpm record in a shop opposite the club where the seller told me that his friends had released this song but they didn't really believe it, I took the record because I thought differently. I showed the record to Fabrice and asked him to do something with it. And he said I'll try. And here is the result. I regret that this sketch has become distorted over the seasons, like many sketches...
